Lifeline Groceries is an organization that delivers groceries to families who suffer from food insecurity or the elderly who are not able to go to supermarkets. . Over time, deliveries jumped from 75 to 200 families, and now over 2,000 families are served weekly.
Frontline Foods Queens has injected over $700,000 into the local restaurant economy to provide meals for frontline healthcare workers, NYCHA residents, and food pantries.

A new COVID-19 vaccine site at the Queens Center Mall in Elmhurst at the former Modell’s sporting goods store. This decision has been made after Queens legislators made various complaints on the lack of vaccine sites in the borough.
They will administer the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

Corona, Queens has had the highest number of infections and deaths in the city – and now has one of the lowest percentages of people vaccinated.
At least 37% of residents of Corona have received one dose of the vaccine, according to city-data. However, in Upper East Side more than 64% of residents have received their first dose.
